Business Analysts are product people too!

Since the turn of the century, organizations have tried a variety of ways to make better use of the software they use to run their operations. This is especially the case for tech enabled companies in industries such as insurance, financial services, retail, healthcare, and government.

In order to build the right software in the right way, these organizations try to emulate the ways of working of tech companies who build software as their main activity.

This adoption of the product model introduces “product people” to internally used software and provides an opportunity for business analysts to make substantial contributions.
